n Eligibility
n n Professor of Practice
n Ph.D. + 10 years; or Master’s + 15 years; or B.Tech. + 17 years in an eligible/reputed organisation;
n n or
n n Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 5 patents + 5 years’ start-up experience
n Associate Professor of Practice
n Ph.D. + 5 years; or Master’s + 10 years; or B.Tech. + 12 years;
n n or
n n Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 5 patents + 3 years’ start-up experience
n Assistant Professor of Practice
n Master’s + 5 years; or B.Tech. + 7 years;
n n or
n n Ph.D./Master’s/B.Tech. with at least 3 patents + 3 years’ start-up experience
n n n Professionals with significant experience in the industry, product development, consulting, research and development, transformation, or entrepreneurship in respective domains are encouraged to apply.
n Formal academic qualification is not mandatory where the candidate demonstrates exemplary professional practice, in accordance with UGC guidelines.
n Research publications or Ph.D. are not mandatory for eligibility as Professor of Practice.
n The position is not open to persons in the teaching profession, serving or retired ,



as per UGC guidelines.
n Proven record of professional excellence, leadership, innovation, or significant contribution in respective domains.
n n Key Responsibilities
n n Contribute to the development and design of industry-oriented courses and curriculum in respective domains.
n Introduce contemporary technologies, tools, platforms, applications, and industry practices into academic delivery.
n Deliver expert lectures, special sessions, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and hands-on training programmes.
n Mentor students in projects, innovation, entrepreneurship, internships, and industry-oriented initiatives.
n Guide students in real-world applications including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI automation, and intelligent systems.
n Strengthen industry-academia collaboration through industry projects, live assignments, internships, and professional interactions.
n Collaborate with regular faculty members on joint research projects, consultancy, innovation, and technology initiatives.
n Contribute to institutional capacity building through emerging technology awareness and professional development programmes.
