Job Description About Polite Society:
n Polite Society is a luxury ready-to-wear label that blends exceptional craftsmanship with a nonconformist spirit. The brand is committed to creating accessible luxury that goes beyond trends and delivers wardrobe investments. We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of our collections.
n Key Responsibilities:
n n Assist in design development, from ideation to execution
n Conduct fabric research and sourcing, ensuring alignment with design and production needs
n Work on pattern making and sampling, collaborating with pattern masters and tailors to perfect garment fits
n Prepare detailed tech packs with accurate specifications for production
n Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely sampling and production
n Maintain an organized archive of designs, fabrics, and trims




n Assist in fittings and provide design inputs for modifications
n n Requirements:
n n Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
n 5+ years of experience in fashion design, with hands-on experience in fabric sourcing, pattern making, and sampling
n Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and finishing techniques
n Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
n Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
n Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
