Role & responsibilities

- Perform detailed structural analysis and design for heavy industrial structures, including equipment foundations and pipe racks.

- Design structural steelwork and reinforced concrete (RCC) structures in strict compliance with relevant IS and international codes.

- Prepare structural design criteria, calculation reports, and material take-offs (MTO).

- Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and bar bending schedules.

- Coordinate seamlessly with piping, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free layouts.

- Travel to project sites (~20% of the time) to conduct field surveys, resolve technical queries, and provide construction support.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.E. in Civil Engineering.

- Experience: 3-8 years of relevant structural design experience in Industrial EPC projects.

- Core Expertise: Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of both steel and concrete structural behavior.

- Software: Highly proficient in STAAD.Pro (analysis/design) and AutoCAD (drafting).
