Job Overview The Associate Principal Statistical Programmer plays a crucial role in our organization, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in statistical programming tasks. The Associate Principal Statistical
Programmer is expected to lead initiatives that enhance our processes, contributing significantly to the advancement of our research objectives.
Essential Functions
- Leads statistical programming activities for multiple projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in deliverables
- Develops and validates datasets and outputs using SAS programming, ensuring compliance with CDISC standards such as ADaM and SDTM models.
- Oversees and mentors junior statistical programmers, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborates across departments to align programming tasks with project timelines and objectives, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Develops and implements programming solutions that support clinical trial data analysis, adhering to regulatory requirements and IQVIA standards.
- Reviews and validates statistical programming work to maintain high quality standards and compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Acts as a liaison between data management, biostatistics,
and other departments to ensure seamless integration of statistical programming activities.
- Participates in strategic planning and decision-making processes to advance programming methodologies and efficiencies.
- Contributes to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for statistical programming within the organization.
- Partners with customers and organizational leadership to achieve common objectives as per business requirements. Achieve service excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Statistics or Computer Science or related field Req
- Master's Degree Statistics or Computer Science Pref
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data The candidate should effectively oversee statistical programming tasks with accuracy and integrity to ensure data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated analytical skills Must apply high-level analytical skills to support clinical trials and data analysis projects.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills Responsibility for implementing programming solutions to resolve complex data issues.
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills Able to clearly communicate programming solutions and mentor junior programmers effectively.
- Builds and manages effective teams Expected to lead initiatives across multiple teams, enhancing processes and contributing to research advancements.
- Possesses robust technical aptitude Proficiency in statistical software tools is essential for overseeing data analysis projects.
