Responsibilities

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

- Debug complex issues across the application and infrastructure stack, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to refine the development process and come up with solutions to improve developer productivity.
- Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate within the team and across other teams to achieve the common organisational goal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective problem-solving skills, logical thinking ability, and strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps space.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related stream.
- 5+ years of experience in Platform engineering.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Experience working on one or more cloud providers, like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in deploying containerized applications, like Docker and Kubernetes, for production workloads.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e. g., Python, Go, Shell).
- Ability to create infrastructure as code, preferably with Terraform.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Share knowledge through technical presentations and written documentation.
