Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals experiencing speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and work collaboratively with families, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Identify and document speech and language disorders and develop appropriate therapy goals. Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions. Treat conditions such as articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, voice disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, and communication difficulties. Provide appropriate swallowing and feeding therapy when qualified and within the scope of practice.

Educate patients, parents, caregivers, and teachers on therapeutic strategies and home-based activities. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, assessment reports, and progress notes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists,



special educators, and nurses. Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and professional development activities. Follow organizational policies, ethical standards, and applicable professional guidelines.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing or an equivalent recognized qualification. Valid professional registration or license, where applicable. Clinical internship or relevant practical experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Good interpersonal, communication, documentation, and counseling skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work effectively with children and/or adults.
