School of Athens Fine Art Academy is looking for an experienced Fine Art Mentor with strong proficiency in Classical Drawing and Painting.

Key Requirements

- Strong proficiency in Classical Painting
- Strong foundation in Academic Drawing
- Excellent understanding of Anatomy, Perspective, Proportion, Value & Light
- Proficiency in Oil Painting
- Knowledge of Classical Portraiture, Figure Painting & Still Life
- Strong understanding of Colour Theory and Colour Mixing
- Ability to teach traditional academic methods and classical painting techniques
- MFA / MVA in Fine Art preferred
- Classical Atelier / Academic Art Training strongly preferred
- Candidates with skilled training under established classical ateliers are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching / professional experience preferred
- Strong observational and analytical drawing skills
- Ability to demonstrate and explain techniques clearly
- Passion for traditional Fine Art education

We Are Specifically Looking For

Classical Fine Art practitioners — not general art instructors.





Candidates should have substantial training or professional practice in realistic / academic / classical drawing and painting.

Candidates whose primary background is:

- Digital Art
- Graphic Design
- Animation
- Illustration
- Concept Art
- Contemporary/Experimental Art without classical training
- Hobby-level painting
- Short-term painting workshops without formal classical training

Education

Preferred:

- MFA / MVA – Fine Art
- BFA / BVA with strong classical painting specialization
- Classical Atelier training
- Academic/Traditional Fine Art training

Role
- Mentor students in classical drawing and painting
- Conduct demonstrations and practical sessions
- Correct student work through individual feedback
- Teach drawing, anatomy, perspective, values, colour and painting techniques
- Maintain academic standards of the academy
- Guide students through structured Fine Art programs
- Participate in academic reviews and student assessments
