A Doctor Appointed To This Grade shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);

And

- shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);

Or
- shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.

Applications are welcome for the above Fixed Term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in No.11 Dalkieth.

This is a current post following the resignation of the current consultant, The role is based within the Midlothian Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Dalkeith.



There is flexibility to tailor the position according to preference for community or inpatient work. Collaborative, multi-disciplinary working is central to our approach, with ready access to input and advice from colleagues located within the same building.

You may also be required to work at any of NHS Lothian sites in exceptional circumstances.
