Solution Architect – Microsoft Business Applications
Role Overview-
We are seeking a Solution Architect who can take business requirements and rapidly convert them into working solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem — Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and the underlying data and AI layer. This is a fast-moving, hands-on role: the person will not just design architecture on paper, but actively build and ship solutions.
Equally key: this person must stay ahead of the Microsoft ecosystem on their own initiative — new product releases, AI capabilities, platform shifts — and proactively bring relevant innovations into Starlink and StarCent without being asked. We are not looking for someone who waits for direction; we're looking for someone who arrives with the direction already scoped out.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements directly into working solutions using Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Automate — with a bias toward speed of solutioning, not just design documentation.
- Own end-to-end delivery of automated workflows and low-code applications that extend or fill gaps around D365.
- Architect how D365 and business data flows into Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, and how AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) can be layered on top to unlock new use cases.
- Continuously track the Microsoft product roadmap and emerging AI capabilities — Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform updates — and proactively propose where these should be adopted internally, without waiting for a business ask.
- Bring industry best practices into the organization unprompted; act as the internal expert who raises the bar rather than one who waits to be pushed.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to ensure solutions are grounded in real business outcomes, not just technical elegance.
- Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support to implementation teams — this role builds,
not just advises.
- Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and lead their adoption where there's a clear business case.
Required Qualifications & Experience (Must-Haves)-
- 5+ years hands-on Solution Architecture experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. Deep, hands-on expertise in:
- Dynamics 365 (relevant modules — CE/F&O;/CS) • Power Apps — building and shipping custom low-code applications
- Power Automate — designing and deploying automated workflows as core infrastructure, not an afterthought
- Demonstrated track record of converting business requirements into deployed solutions quickly — not just architecture diagrams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work directly with business teams to scope requirements without heavy translation layers.
Highly Valued (Good-to-Have — a candidate strong across all three is exceptional) -
- Microsoft Fabric — understanding how D365/business data lands, gets modeled, and becomes usable.
- Azure Data Factory / Synapse — data integration and pipeline experience.
- Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI Service — experience designing solutions that call into AI services from within business workflows. A candidate who combines strong Power Platform/D365 delivery skills with genuine Fabric + AI services experience is the ideal profile — this combination is rare and should be weighted heavily in evaluation.
Ideal Candidate-
A self-directed technologist who treats staying current on the Microsoft ecosystem as part of the , not an extracurricular. Someone who has already been the person in their last organization who said “we should be using this” before anyone asked — and who can prove it with a specific example, not just a claim. Combines fast, hands-on solutioning with genuine curiosity about where Microsoft's AI and platform investments are heading next, and the judgment to know which of those are actually worth bringing into Starlink and StarCent.
