Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Designer with a strong background in Mobile Radio Access Networks (RAN) to spearhead the functional design and orchestration of network build and planning operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between domain-specific RAN operations and automated platform capability, translating complex RAN deployment lifecycle steps—from cell site planning and commissioning to operational handover—into automated workflows. A key mandate of this role is to design and architect reusable, modular capabilities on our enterprise workflow management platform, while integrating intelligent Machine Learning (ML), AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline network engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- RAN Workflow Architecture: Design end-to-end, scalable solution blueprints for mobile Radio Access Network (4G/5G RAN) planning, site rollout, and build workflows on an enterprise Workflow Management System.
- Reusable Capability Development: Identify common operational patterns across network build activities and design modular, reusable workflow building blocks (e.g., automated site readiness checks, vendor dispatch triggers, status synchronization tasks) to accelerate future workflow development.
- NMS & OSS Integration: Define and design robust functional integration patterns connecting the Workflow Management System with Network Management Systems (NMS), Element Management Systems (EMS), and broader OSS components (Inventory, Service Order Management, Performance Management).
- Functional Requirements & Blueprints: Translate complex business rules from RAN network engineering and operations teams into explicit functional design documents, API contracts, sequence diagrams, and user stories.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with platform development teams, data science engineers,



and network operations leads to ensure solution designs match operational requirements and technical architectures.
- Unstructured Data Parsing: Automating the extraction and validation of site survey reports, drive test results, and vendor documentation using LLM/NLP tools.
- Predictive Workflow Routing: Leveraging ML models to forecast build delays, predict cell site capacity bottlenecks, and auto-route exception tasks.

Required Qualifications & Technical Experience

- RAN Expertise: Deep domain knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G RAN architectures, cell site planning, deployment, commissioning, and radio network lifecycle processes.
- NMS & OSS Integration Experience: Direct experience designing or implementing integrations between workflow/orchestration platforms, Network Management Systems (NMS/EMS), and core OSS modules (e.g., inventory management, fault/performance monitoring).
- Solution Design Credentials: 5+ years of experience in a Solution Designer, Systems Architect, or Senior Functional Designer role within Telecom OSS.
- AI / Machine Learning Application: Demonstrated understanding of applying ML/AI concepts to telecom domain problems (e.g., automated decision-making, predictive network planning, anomaly detection).
- Generative AI & LLM Integration: Exposure to integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP into business applications (e.g., RAG-based search for technical manuals, prompt engineering, automated document processing).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Workflow Management Platform Experience: Practical experience with low-code/no-code BPM or Workflow Management Systems (e.g., Camunda, Pega, Appian, ServiceNow, or proprietary telco orchestrators).
- Telecom Industry Frameworks: Familiarity with TM Forum Frameworx standards (eTOM, TAM, SID APIs) and Open RAN (O-RAN) deployment standards.
- Data & API Architecture: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON schemas, event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), and data analysis tools (Python, SQL).
