Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage shift operations and ensure end-to-end delivery of Software Procurement & Contract Management, Software Asset Management, and Corporate License Hosting Support services. The Team Lead owns SLA compliance, operational excellence, escalation management, and team performance across the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities

Software Procurement & Contract Management

- Process software purchase, renewal, and contract requests.
- Support software sourcing and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and software vendors.
- Manage software contract lifecycle activities.
- Track software renewals and licensing requirements.
- Conduct contract review for M&A; deals.
- Lead Software Asset Management activities during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Coordinate cross-functional SAM activities involving Procurement, IT, Legal, Security, and SAM Administrators.
- Review software contracts for Change of Control, Assignment, and Future Affiliate clauses.
- Evaluate vendor licensing risks and Effective License Positions (ELP) during mergers and acquisitions.
- Coordinate vendor engagement for enterprise agreement consolidation and co-term renewal negotiations.
- Establish cross-functional SAM governance involving Procurement, Legal, IT, Security, and Software Asset Management teams during merger and acquisition activities.
- Evaluate software licensing compliance with applicable data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with software vendors.
- Extract and tabulate price, product, and POC data from software contracts.
- Maintain procurement and contract documentation.
- Manage 180-day renewal clock (ILP at day 180, FLP at 60, SAC gate over $2M, Director+ signature at 15).
- Govern operational renewal reminders (6090 days before contract expiry) to support utilization reviews, license optimization, and contract execution.
- Manage Top 25 strategic publishers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Amazon).
- Implement dedicated Microsoft & Adobe playbooks.

SAM Operations Oversight





- Oversee SAM operations including license lifecycle, harvesting, true-ups, and compliance.
- Review license optimization, utilization, and compliance reports.
- Manage Effective License Positions to identify risk and opportunities.
- Oversee Deal Radar system of record and DRID events.
- Review automated license harvesting, reclamation, and utilization analytics.
- Oversee HR-driven software de-provisioning and license recovery processes.
- Govern centralized software entitlement repositories and software asset data quality.

CLH Operations Oversight

- Oversee CLH operations including license server monitoring, script execution, and uptime SLA.
- Ensure Critical License Handling Uptime: 97%.
- Oversee license server infrastructure health including CPU, memory, storage, backup, recovery, and network availability.
- Ensure vendor daemon (lmgrd) availability, operating system patching, and Infrastructure-as-Code deployment standards.

Team Management

- Manage day-to-day operations across all three service areas for the assigned shift.
- Ensure SLA and KPI compliance (SaaS License Requests: 99% within 1 business day, Critical License Handling – Assignment Time: 99% within 4 hours).
- Manage work allocation, queue management, and backlog reduction activities.
- Handle operational escalations and client issues.
- Conduct quality reviews and knowledge transfer activities.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Coordinate transition activities related to GUTS to ServiceNow migration.

Reporting & Governance (PM Responsibilities Absorbed)

- Prepare Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports.
- Support quarterly chargeback to Finance,



monthly utilization & TTR reports, and weekly trackers.
- Prepare Effective License Positions to identify risk and opportunities.
- Own SLA and KPI governance and ensure contractual compliance.
