n About the Role
n Echelon is seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer – Interior Fit-Out to develop and deliver functional, aesthetically appealing, and technically practical interior design solutions for commercial and residential projects.
n The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in concept development, space planning, working drawings, material selection, 3D visualization, BOQ coordination, and site execution , with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
n Prepare detailed space planning, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, and construction drawings .
n Develop and coordinate detailed interior design drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
n Prepare 3D models, renders, and visual presentations for client approvals.
n Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.
n Coordinate design requirements with Project Managers, Site Engineers, MEP teams, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
n Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure proper design coordination.
n Prepare and review material schedules, finish schedules, and design specifications.
n Coordinate with the estimation and procurement teams for BOQ, material quantities, specifications,



and cost-effective design solutions .
n Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is properly implemented during execution.
n Monitor site progress and resolve design-related issues and technical queries.
n Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and material submissions.
n Attend client and consultant meetings and incorporate approved design revisions.
n Assist in maintaining project timelines and ensuring design deliverables are issued on schedule.
n Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material samples, finishes, furniture, and custom-made items.
n Conduct snagging inspections and support the project team during final handover.
n Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project records.
n n Qualifications & Experience
n n Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field .
n Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, fit-out, or architectural projects.
n Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials, furniture, joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, lighting, and decorative elements .
n Good understanding of interior construction methods and site execution.
n Ability to interpret and coordinate Architectural, Structural,



and MEP drawings .
n Strong knowledge of BOQ, material specifications, and quantity requirements.
n Good communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
n Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
n Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
n n Required Software Skills
n n AutoCAD – Mandatory
n SketchUp – Preferred
n 3D Max / V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion – Added Advantage
n Adobe Photoshop – Preferred
n Microsoft Office – Required
n Knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage.
n n Preferred Experience
n n Experience in Commercial, Retail, Office, Healthcare, Hospitality, Residential, or F&B; Interior Fit-Out projects .
n Experience in preparing detailed construction and shop drawings.
n Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
n Knowledge of furniture and joinery detailing is an added advantage.
n Strong understanding of local interior fit-out standards and construction practices is preferred.
