About the Role 10X International School, Bengaluru, is looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator to manage the school’s digital presence. The candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, capturing, editing, and publishing engaging content that highlights the school’s academic setting, student achievements, activities, events, facilities, and community.

The role requires regular interaction with students, teachers, parents, and school leadership to develop authentic and meaningful content while maintaining the school’s professional image and communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a monthly social media content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos of classroom activities, school events, student projects, sports, celebrations, competitions, and campus life.
- Create engaging reels, short-form videos, stories, graphics, posters, captions, and other digital content.
- Edit videos and images using suitable tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar applications.
- Write clear, creative, and grammatically correct captions and promotional content.
- Present the school’s academic philosophy, achievements, activities, and events in an engaging manner.
- Coordinate with teachers, coordinators, students, and administrators to gather information and content.
- Cover school events and ensure timely publication of approved content.
- Maintain consistency in the school’s tone, visual identity, branding, and communication standards.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement on social media platforms.




- Track social media performance, including reach, views, engagement, followers, and content performance.
- Suggest new content ideas based on current trends and the interests of parents, students, and the wider school community.
- Ensure that all content is reviewed and approved before publication.
- Follow school policies relating to student privacy, safeguarding, photography, and consent.
- Maintain an organised archive of photographs, videos, artwork, designs, and published content.
- Support digital campaigns, admissions promotions, newsletters, website updates, and other marketing activities when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field.
- One to three years of experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, photography, videography, or a similar role.
- Experience managing social media pages for a school, educational institution, organisation, or professional brand will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- A portfolio of social media posts, reels, photographs, videos, or other creative work is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Kannada will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work on occasional weekends or outside regular working hours during major school events.
