Manufacturing Sector in Service
Job Summary The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation support, troubleshooting,
maintenance, and after-sales service of Gearless Elevator Machines and related systems. The role requires technical expertise, quick problem-solving ability, and effective customer handling to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
¢ Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems and gearless machines
¢ Good troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills
¢ Ability to read electrical drawings and technical diagrams
¢ Strong communication and customer handling abilities
¢ Knowledge of safety standards and service procedures
¢ Ability to work independently and handle site-related challenges
¢ Reporting Skills
Key Responsibilities
¢ Attend service calls and resolve technical issues at customer sites
¢ Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
¢ Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in elevator systems
¢ Ensure timely preventive maintenance and breakdown support
¢ Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical support
¢ Maintain proper service reports and documentation
¢ Provide technical guidance and support to customers and technicians
¢ Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
¢ Build and maintain good relationships with customers and channel partners
¢ Support the sales team with technical inputs whenever required
¢ Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for better efficiency
¢ Travel to different customer locations as per service requirements
