Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SEO Team Lead who can manage an overseas content team, review SEO work, and develop data-driven SEO strategies.

This role is not focused only on writing or executing individual SEO tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning SEO activities, assigning tasks to our Vietnam-based content team, reviewing completed work, identifying improvements, and reporting results and future strategies to headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, competitor analysis, and keyword gap analysis.
- Develop short-term and long-term SEO strategies based on search trends, ranking data, and business goals.
- Plan and assign SEO/content tasks to our Vietnam-based content team.
- Provide clear instructions and priorities to writers and content editors.
- Review and approve completed content before final submission.
- Identify SEO, content quality, structure, and optimization issues and provide detailed revision instructions.
- Perform on-page SEO reviews including titles, headings, internal links, keyword targeting, metadata, and content structure.
- Monitor indexing, crawling, rankings, organic traffic, and overall SEO performance.
- Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Conduct SEO audits and identify technical SEO issues that may affect organic performance.
- Analyze competitors and SERPs to identify new content and ranking opportunities.
- Develop content strategies including new pages, content updates, internal linking, and topical expansion.
- Track the quality and progress of work completed by team members.
- Prepare clear weekly and monthly SEO reports for headquarters.
- Explain what was completed, what problems were found, what should be improved,



and what actions should be taken next.
- Proactively suggest new SEO opportunities instead of waiting for detailed instructions from management.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 47 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Strong experience in SEO strategy, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content SEO.
- Previous experience reviewing or managing work produced by SEO specialists, writers, or content teams.
- Ability to independently analyze a website and determine what SEO actions should be prioritized.
- Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
- Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or comparable SEO tools.
- Good understanding of Technical SEO, indexing, crawling, canonicalization, sitemaps, internal linking, and site structure.
- Strong understanding of search intent and how to create or improve content based on SERP analysis.
- Ability to provide clear written task instructions and constructive feedback to team members.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Comfortable working remotely with an international team across different countries and time zones.

6. Report findings and recommend the next SEO strategy to headquarters.

This position is best suited for someone who can take ownership of SEO operations and make independent, well-supported recommendations, rather than someone who requires detailed instructions for every task.
