Job Description: We are seeking a CAD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The candidate should have more than 0-2 years of experience in either Process or Design fields, with a preference for experience in the composite industry.
Responsibilities:
# Design and develop recent projects using CAD software, ensuring adherence to project specifications and requirements.
# Coordinate with production and quality teams during implementation stages to ensure seamless integration of designs into manufacturing processes.
# Perform various complex calculations related to design and development tasks.
# Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
# Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to CAD design and manufacturing processes.
# Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design and production processes.
# Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, calculations, and project milestones.
# Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
Qualifications
# Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
# Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process or Design fields.
# Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
# Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
# Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
# Experience in the composite industry is preferred but not required.
