n Role Description
n This is a part-time, on-site Pediatrician position at HMS Unani Medical College & Hospital, Tumkur, Karnataka.
n The Pediatrician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
n Key Responsibilities
n * Conduct pediatric outpatient consultations and clinical assessments.
n * Diagnose and manage common and complex pediatric conditions.
n * Provide appropriate treatment and follow-up care.
n * Assess and manage pediatric emergencies and arrange referral when required.
n * Monitor child growth, development, nutrition, and overall health.
n * Counsel parents and families regarding nutrition, vaccination, preventive healthcare,



and child development.
n * Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
n * Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
n * Participate in hospital health camps and community healthcare activities when required.
n * Contribute to clinical teaching and mentoring of medical students where appropriate.
n * Follow hospital protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety and ethical medical practice.
n Qualifications
n * MBBS with MD/DNB in Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
n * Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
n * Strong clinical knowledge and pediatric assessment skills.
n * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n * Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
n * Previous clinical experience in Pediatrics is preferred.
n * Experience in teaching or mentoring medical students will be an advantage.
