About the Role

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Senior Sales Executive to join our retail operations. In this role, you will act as a senior subject-matter expert on our floor—guiding customers through advanced stationery and office product solutions, assisting with B2B/bulk inquiries, mentoring junior staff, and driving high-value sales while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- High-Standard Retail Sales:
- Perform all daily floor sales duties to an exemplary standard, setting a benchmark for customer service, product presentation, and sales conversion.
- Proactively assist walk-in customers and drive sales across premium stationery, art supplies, and office essentials.
- Expert Guidance & Solution Selling:
- Serve as the on-floor expert for technical product queries, specialized art supplies, high-end writing instruments, and customized stationery solutions.
- Assist walk-in B2C shoppers as well as small B2B/institutional clients (schools, offices, local businesses) with bulk procurement inquiries.
- Process Adherence & Operations:
- Strictly follow and enforce store SOPs across billing, product returns, exchanges, and warranty checks to minimize transaction errors and cancellations.
- Coordinate with the billing counter to ensure smooth checkout flow and accurate record-keeping.
- Onboarding & Peer Mentorship:
- Onboard, train,



and guide new Sales Executives on product catalog knowledge, customer handling skills, and store procedures.
- Serve as a day-to-day buddy and point of support for junior floor team members.
- First-Level Issue Resolution:
- Act as the first line of resolution for customer complaints, exchange requests, or complex service issues on the floor with tact and professionalism.

Performance Metrics

- Individual and shift sales target achievement.
- Reduction in product return and cancellation rates on processed orders.
- Peer training effectiveness and team feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 2–4 years of proven retail sales experience (experience in stationery, bookstores, FMCG, lifestyle retail, or consumer electronics is preferred).
- Skills: Robust product knowledge, excellent interpersonal communication, basic inventory/POS navigation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Languages: Fluency in Malayalam (essential for local customer engagement) and good working knowledge of English.
- Education: Higher Secondary (10+2) or Graduate in any discipline.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
