POSITION : SENIOR RESIDENT

REPORTING TO : GENERAL MANAGER, MEDICAL OPERATIONS

QUALIFICATION : M.S / D.N.B. / DIPLOMA IN OBSTRETICS AND

GYNAECOLOGY

EXPERIENCE : 0 - 3 YEARS.

DRESS CODE : SPECIFIED DRESS CODE WITH I.D.CARD

DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS.

To assist consultants in ensuring the smooth functioning of the department.

Assisting the consultants in I.P.D. & O.T.

Maintain the confidentiality of the patient records.

To prepare correct patient record & discuss the case with the consultant.

To counsel the patient & help in taking proper clinical history & examination.

To educate the nursing staff continuously & solve their clinical queries pertaining to patient care.





To communicate & educate the patient effectively & to make the correct diagnosis.

To provide best care to the patient at all levels i.e. from admission till discharge.

To participate in academic activities of the department like CMEs etc.

To be keen to attend local & regional conferences to continuously upgrade their knowledge & qualified skills.

Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.

To formulate the Process Improvement programs and carry on Quality Initiatives in the department.

To perform all other jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
