We are looking for 7+years experienced Power BI Developer with deep technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards that drive insights from high-volume, event-driven data. In this role, you will be tackling complex analytics for platforms that generate massive amounts of user-action events (scaling to thousands of concurrent operators in large enterprise environments). The ideal candidate must possess end-to-end Power BI capabilities, moving beyond standard visual creation to robust data modeling, advanced DAX, and full-stack troubleshooting to translate complex operator data into actionable business intelligence

Responsibilities include

- Event-Driven Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards focused on large-scale event analytics and operator activity tracking.
- AI-Driven Data Analysis & Insights: Leverage AI tools and contemporary AI-assisted features (e.g., Copilot for Power BI, generative AI for data analysis) to accelerate insight generation, automated summary drafting, and analytical workflows.
- End-to-end Dashboard Ownership: Independently diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across the Power BI stack and associated reporting tools (data ingestion, Power Query/M language, DAX, and visual rendering).
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Timezone Alignment: Work during US East Coast hours (EST) to engage with clients, review reports early in the day, and translate ambiguous requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Advanced Calculations & Data Modeling: Build efficient star/snowflake schemas and develop complex DAX calculations, KPIs, and calculated columns optimized for high-frequency telemetry datasets.
- ETL & Data Integration: Create robust ETL workflows and integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Azure SQL, REST APIs, and enterprise data sources.
- Governance & Maintenance: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), manage dataset refreshes,



and maintain clear technical documentation.

Primary Skills :
- Total Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Power BI development.
- AI Tools Exposure: Proven background and practical experience using AI tools for data analysis, automated querying, and insight development.
- Technical Depth: Demonstrated expertise across multiple reporting tools - advanced DAX, robust data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, relationships), and Power Query/M - with full-stack troubleshooting capabilities.
- Business Comprehension & Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact early-day with East Coast clients and articulate technical findings clearly.
- High-Volume Data & SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL (Azure SQL, SQL Server) and reporting on large-scale telemetry/user-activity log data.
- Optimization & Security: Deep experience in query folding, report performance tuning, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).

Secondary Skills :
- Experience with AI/ML integration platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Python/R scripts for predictive analytics in Power BI).
- Knowledge of cloud data engineering & tools (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks) and automated pipeline integrations
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and managing client-facing status reviews during EST working hours.
