The primary objective of this role is to comprehend the infrastructure needs within the organization, assess the most suitable solutions, oversee procurement and implementation, provide ongoing support, and ensure the protection of hardware and software assets across the organization. It is pivotal in orchestrating the entire lifecycle of infrastructure solutions, from conception to safeguarding, to facilitate seamless operations and enhance security posture.

Key Responsibility

Technology Solutioning and Procurement:

- Collaborate and lead solutioning and strategizing efforts with stakeholders to negotiate strategies, addressing solution and budget concerns
- Stay abreast of market trends and benchmark against office setups, facilities, and technological capabilities
- Provide lifecycle management for hardware and software, including procurement, upgrades, and recycling
- Procure hardware and software in accordance with budgetary constraints, ensuring the right quantity and price
- Develop comprehensive procurement reports integrating efficiency benchmarks and security risk assessments, prioritizing risk identification and mitigation plans, incident management, and ongoing technology improvements
- Optimize cost efficiencies by procuring technology in appropriate configurations and timing
- Oversee the procurement process for infrastructure components, including (not limited to) landline, CCTV, and mobile phone plans

Implementation and Optimization:

- Ensure smooth implementation of technology solutions, including functionality verification and stakeholder training




- Optimize the utilization of technology assets to ensure effective resource usage by stakeholders
- Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to infrastructure and cloud security within defined service level agreements (SLAs)

Cybersecurity and Risk Management:

- Conduct risk assessments and security threat modelling exercises in collaboration with technology engineering teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Administer cybersecurity training sessions for employees promote awareness among employees regarding cybersecurity best practices, covering areas such as handling spam emails and online transactions, to enhance the organization's first line of defence against potential threats.
- Implement and manage the deployment and oversight of various security tools and technologies, including EDR, NDR, Firewall, Cloud Security Posture Management, CIEM, and vulnerability assessment tools

Relationship Management:

- Work closely with technical teams, including Identity and Authorization, Application Owners, Hosting teams, and the Security Operations Centre
- Engage external stakeholders, such as vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Foster strong relationships with business owners to understand their needs and priorities effectively and negotiate strategies to address concerns in alignment with organizational objectives
