Senior Consultant RFP Support & Supplier Outreach

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant RFP Support with strong expertise in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, RFP/RFQ management and Contract Implementation. The role will support global business units in delivering standardized, efficient and compliant sourcing processes across the complete RFx lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing sourcing events, supplier outreach, bid management, commercial evaluation and procurement governance while working with global stakeholders and multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ/RFx activities, from requirement intake through supplier selection and award support.
- Understand business requirements and align sourcing objectives, timelines and evaluation criteria with stakeholders.
- Conduct supplier identification, longlisting, shortlisting and supplier outreach.
- Prepare and issue RFP/RFQ events using sourcing platforms such as Ariba, Coupa or Ivalua.
- Manage supplier queries, clarifications, bid submissions and follow-ups throughout the RFP lifecycle.
- Support commercial bid analysis, benchmarking, TCO and cost modelling.
- Coordinate technical and commercial evaluations with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare sourcing recommendations, award documentation and business case summaries.
- Support contract implementation, including contract templates, documentation, approvals, deviations and version control.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies,



governance frameworks, compliance requirements and audit standards.
- Track RFP pipeline, cycle time, supplier participation, SLA adherence, savings and other sourcing KPIs.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
- Identify process bottlenecks, compliance gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support digital procurement, workflow automation and AI-enabled sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Finance and Business teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, S2C, RFP/RFQ management or sourcing operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in RFP/RFQ/RFx lifecycle management.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing / Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes.
- Strong exposure to supplier outreach, supplier evaluation, supplier selection and bid management.
- Experience with commercial bid analysis, TCO, cost modelling and benchmarking.
- Hands-on experience with procurement/sourcing platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua or Oracle.
- Robust understanding of procurement governance, approval workflows and compliance frameworks.




- Experience working with global stakeholders, multiple business units and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a GCC / Procurement CoE / global procurement environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel; Power BI/Tableau exposure is preferred.
- Exposure to procurement automation, AI-enabled sourcing or digital procurement tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and ownership.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from global organizations in:
- Pharmaceuticals
- MedTech / Healthcare
- FMCG / CPG
- Other global procurement environments

Education
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com / BBA / BMS or equivalent
- MBA / M.Com / relevant Master's degree preferred
- Procurement/Sourcing certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are an advantage.
