Job Description *Manufacturing Consultant — Medical Devices (Greenfield Project, Uttar Pradesh)*
n *TECHNOMED Devices India Pvt. Ltd.* | Lucknow, UP | Consulting/Advisory Engagement
n TECHNOMED, a Lucknow-based medical device distribution and healthcare services company supplying government hospitals across UP, is setting up a *greenfield manufacturing facility* (capex range ₹10–15 Cr for machinery and equipment) as part of its transition into an integrated manufacturer-distributor ahead of a planned IPO.
n We're looking for an experienced *Manufacturing Consultant* to work closely with leadership through product selection, project planning, and execution readiness.
n *What you'll do:*
n - Help identify and shortlist the right medical device product(s) to manufacture, based on market demand, margin profile, regulatory pathway, and fit with TECHNOMED's existing distribution network
n - Lead or closely guide preparation of a bankable Detailed Project Report (DPR) — technical feasibility, capex/opex planning, plant & machinery specification, production planning, and financial modeling (IRR, NPV, DSCR, sensitivity analysis)
n - Advise on manufacturing technology and equipment selection, supplier evaluation, and plant engineering for a ₹10–15 Cr machinery investment




n - Guide regulatory compliance planning (CDSCO / Medical Device Rules) for the manufacturing setup
n - Support site/location evaluation and coordination with industrial land authorities (UPSIDA)
n - Provide end-to-end consultancy from concept through to commissioning readiness
n *What we're looking for:*
n - 15+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing, with direct exposure to plant setup, production planning, and regulatory compliance in India
n - Prior experience preparing or overseeing bankable DPRs for lenders/financial institutions
n - Strong understanding of CDSCO regulatory framework and medical device manufacturing licensing
n - Track record of hands-on plant commissioning, not just advisory/theoretical experience
n - Based in or willing to travel regularly to Lucknow, UP
