About Scholarskool

Scholarskool works with schools to strengthen academic outcomes, teacher capabilities, student development, career readiness and institutional growth through a comprehensive suite of programs and services.

We are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Sales & Business Development professional who can build strong relationships with school decision-makers and drive adoption of Scholarskool's programs.

Remuneration The ideal candidate would recieve a basic annual payout of 4 - 5 lakhs and a significantly substantial incetives (three to four times the package) based on business outcome.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

Identify and develop recent school and institutional accounts. Build relationships with school owners, trustees, promoters, principals, directors, academic heads and senior management.

Present and sell the complete Scholarskool portfolio, including:

Entrepreneurship & business programs

STEM programs

Astronomy and space education

Faculty Enrichment Programs (FEP)

Career guidance and career development

University immersion and experiential learning

Centres of Excellence

Student enrichment and international programs

Other academic, teacher-development and school-transformation solutions

Understand individual school requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

Conduct presentations, demonstrations and commercial discussions and convert opportunities into engagements.

1. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

Independently generate leads through cold outreach, referrals, networking, school visits, databases, digital channels and partnerships. Build and continuously maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Develop territory-wise and segment-wise prospect lists.

Follow up systematically from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and closure.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, meetings and conversions.

1. Events & Marketing Activation

Design,



plan and execute online and offline sales and marketing events for schools. Organise school leader meets, webinars, workshops, demonstrations, seminars and familiarisation programs.

Develop event concepts, identify target audiences, invite decision-makers and manage follow-up.

Work with the marketing team to create campaigns, presentations, invitations and promotional material.

Convert events into qualified sales opportunities.

1. Relationship Management

Develop long-term relationships with school leadership and education stakeholders. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell the wider Scholarskool portfolio.

Maintain regular engagement with existing institutional clients to identify new requirements.

Build a strong network within the education ecosystem.

1. Sales Strategy & Reporting

Develop monthly and quarterly sales plans in consultation with management. Establish clear targets for lead generation, meetings, proposals and closures.

Track sales performance and provide regular pipeline reports.

Share market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback with management.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly confident and persuasive in communication

Comfortable speaking with school owners and senior decision-makers

Strong at networking and relationship building

Capable of opening doors rather than waiting for leads

Entrepreneurial, energetic and target-oriented

Comfortable conducting presentations and product demonstrations

Able to organise and manage events independently

Willing to travel for school visits and business development





Capable of handling the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to closure

Comfortable using CRM systems, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn and other digital sales tools

Able to work independently while collaborating with the Scholarskool team

Qualification & Experience

Graduate degree in any discipline; qualifications in Education, Business, Marketing or Management are advantageous.

2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, education sales, school partnerships, edtech, training, educational products or institutional business development preferred.

Candidates with strong networks among schools and education leaders will have an advantage.

Exceptional candidates with demonstrated sales ability may be considered irrespective of formal qualifications.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured through:

New schools and institutional accounts acquired

Qualified leads generated

Decision-maker meetings secured

Proposals and demonstrations conducted

Sales conversion and revenue achieved

Events/webinars organised and leads generated

Cross-selling of the Scholarskool portfolio

Growth of the assigned territory/network

Client retention and relationship development
