We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management, including implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and production support projects. The candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MM, S/4HANA Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Invoice Verification, and integration with other SAP modules .

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead functional teams, interact with business stakeholders, analyze complex business requirements, design scalable SAP solutions, and drive projects from requirement gathering through go-live and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP MM functional activities across implementation, rollout, enhancement, upgrade, and support projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional solutions.
- Configure and maintain SAP MM processes including:
- Enterprise Structure
- Material Master
- Vendor/Business Partner Master
- Purchasing
- Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order
- RFQ and quotation processes
- Source determination
- Purchase Info Records and Source Lists
- Outline Agreements
- Inventory Management
- Goods Receipt and Goods Issue
- Stock Transfers and Transfer Postings
- Physical Inventory
- Invoice Verification
- Automatic Account Determination
- Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Work extensively with S/4HANA Procurement and Fiori-based procurement processes.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements and SAP best practices.




- Lead workshops with business users and key stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Security, Integration, and other technical teams for solution implementation.
- Perform integration analysis with FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM, QM, and other SAP modules .
- Support interfaces involving third-party procurement, warehouse, tax, banking, and external systems.
- Manage testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and user guides.
- Support data migration activities including material, vendor/business partner, purchasing, and inventory-related data.
- Participate in cutover planning, mock cutovers, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent solutions.
- Lead offshore/onshore functional teams and coordinate deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level SAP MM consultants.
- Participate in project estimation, planning, risk identification, and status reporting.
- Ensure solutions comply with SAP standards, business controls, and organizational policies.

Required Technical Skills
- 12+ years of overall SAP MM experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM/Procurement .
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Procurement .
- Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Strong knowledge of P2P and Source-to-Pay processes.
- Expertise in Purchasing and Inventory Management.
- Solid understanding of MM-FI integration and account determination.
- Good understanding of MM integration with SD, PP, WM/EWM, and QM.
