SAP Global Process Data Consultant (OTC/MTO)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Process Data Consultant to support a large-scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and global transformation program .

The ideal candidate will have strong recent SAP experience, particularly within Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including Disputes, Collections, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Cash Application, Credit Management, Customer Data, and Pricing .

This role is focused on functional process data and data migration—not SAP configuration . The consultant will act as a bridge between business process owners, SAP functional teams, and data teams to ensure data is properly defined, standardized, validated, migrated, and ready for business processes.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP OTC workstreams , particularly:
- Disputes
- Collections
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Cash Application
- Credit Management
- Customer and Pricing data
- 5+ years of overall SAP functional experience with a solid data focus.
- Recent SAP experience, specifically within the last 3 years .
- Mandatory experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration/conversion .
- Strong understanding of SAP fields, data structures, and how data is used within business processes.
- Strong understanding of OTC business processes and related SAP data objects.
- Experience supporting data migration, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation .
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities SAP OTC & Functional Process Data

- Support OTC business processes with a focus on A/R, Collections, Disputes, Cash Application,



Credit Management, Customer, and Pricing data .
- Define and validate data objects, attributes, required fields, business rules, validations, and derivations.
- Translate business process requirements into functional data requirements for SAP S/4HANA .
- Ensure data is aligned with standardized business processes and SAP best practices.
- Understand SAP configuration areas and identify the appropriate functional teams responsible for configuration-related issues.
- Work closely with SAP functional teams when data or process failures occur.

Data Migration & S/4HANA Readiness

- Support ECC-to-S/4HANA data migration and conversion activities .
- Define and validate data mapping rules between legacy ECC systems and S/4HANA.
- Support data cleansing, enrichment, harmonization, and validation.
- Participate in mock conversions, data loads, reconciliation, and migration testing.
- Validate data quality and readiness prior to cutover.
- Ensure migrated data supports end-to-end OTC business processes.

Data Governance & Quality

- Support global data standards and governance requirements.
- Partner with Master Data and Data Governance teams as needed.
- Define data ownership, roles, and stewardship requirements.
- Identify data quality issues and support remediation activities.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, complete, and fit for business use.

Testing, Cutover & Hypercare

- Support functional and integrated testing with a focus on data accuracy.
- Validate business scenarios using migrated and newly created data.
- Support data-related cutover planning and execution.
- Assist with post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and stabilization.
