Key Responsibilities
Legal Agreements & Contract Management
Draft, review, negotiate and vet legal agreements including:
Leave & License Agreements
Vendor Agreements
Supply Agreements
Marketing Agreements
Franchise Agreements
Master Service Agreements (MSA)
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
Deeds of Surrender and other commercial contracts.
Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.
Maintain contract repository and monitor renewals, amendments and expiry dates.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
Obtain, renew and maintain statutory licenses and approvals.
Liaise with government authorities including FSSAI, Police, Municipal Corporation, Excise, Fire Department, Shops & Establishment and other regulatory bodies.
Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Maintain license tracker and documentation for all outlets and corporate offices.
Litigation Management
Coordinate and manage civil,
commercial and criminal litigation matters.
Work closely with external advocates and legal consultants.
Maintain litigation tracker for all ongoing legal cases.
Prepare case briefs, documentation and legal records.
Monitor court dates, legal notices and follow-up actions.
Assist management in litigation strategy and dispute resolution.
Legal Notices & Dispute Resolution
Draft and respond to legal notices received from authorities, landlords, vendors and other stakeholders.
Draft recovery notices and settlement communications.
Handle recovery matters through negotiation and legal proceedings.
Assist in arbitration, mediation and settlement discussions.
Risk Management
Identify legal and contractual risks.
Provide legal advice to management and business teams.
Recommend risk mitigation measures to protect company interests.
