Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join a growing retail supermarket business in Nashik.

The role involves handling customers inside the store, understanding their requirements, assisting them in selecting suitable products, explaining product features/offers, supporting sales, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

The store deals with a wide range of grocery & daily-use products, household essentials, personal care products, and other retail categories.

Freshers can also apply.

Key Responsibilities Customer Handling & Retail Sales

- Welcome and assist customers in the store.
- Understand customer requirements and help them find the right products.
- Provide information regarding product features, prices, offers, discounts, and availability.
- Guide customers across different product categories.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
- Promote ongoing offers, schemes, and promotional products.
- Encourage upselling and cross-selling wherever appropriate.
- Handle customer queries and provide accurate product information.
- Ensure a positive and professional customer experience.

Sales & Store Operations

- Achieve assigned daily/monthly sales targets.
- Monitor product availability on the sales floor and inform the concerned team about shortages.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, arranged, and replenished.
- Check product shelves and maintain proper product placement.
- Coordinate with the store/inventory team for stock availability.
- Assist in maintaining proper product displays and promotional areas.
- Support stock checking and basic inventory-related activities when required.
- Coordinate with the billing counter for smooth customer transactions.
- Assist customers during the billing and checkout process when required.
- Handle product exchanges/returns as per company policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of the assigned sales area.

Customer Follow-up & Sales Support

- Handle customer enquiries received through phone or other channels.




- Follow up with customers regarding specific product requirements when required.
- Inform regular customers about relevant offers or product availability.
- Maintain basic records of customer enquiries and sales activities.
- Coordinate with senior staff/management for customer complaints or special requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate.
- Experience: 0–2 years in retail sales, supermarket, customer service, inside sales, or a similar role.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good Hindi and Marathi communication required.
- Basic English communication will be an advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable with customer-facing retail work.
- Candidates should be willing to work in shifts/weekends as per store requirements.
