We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineering Fresher interested in building a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, BOQ Preparation, and Costing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and cost estimates.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, etc.
- Assist in material and labour quantity calculations.
- Review drawings and identify scope of work.
- Assist in rate analysis and project costing.
- Compare quantities with drawings and project requirements.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in tender and estimation activities.
- Assist with site measurements when required.
- Maintain proper estimation sheets and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Civil Engineering and construction methods.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements and basic mathematics.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn quantity surveying and estimation.
Software Knowledge Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, Cost Estimation/BOQ software is an advantage.
