Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspections, documentation, material verification, testing, and coordination with project teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Conduct inspections of civil and construction works at various stages of execution.
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and applicable standards.
- Review and verify construction drawings, material specifications, and method statements.
- Inspect incoming construction materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
- Coordinate and monitor material testing, site testing, and laboratory tests as required.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Checklists, Test Reports, and Quality Records.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare and monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain proper quality documentation and records for project handover and audit purposes.




- Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities are executed as per approved procedures.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and PMC teams on quality-related matters.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare quality observation reports.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Assist in preparing Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), Quality Plans, and checklists.
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure recurring quality issues are prevented.
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC reports and provide updates to the Project Manager.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of construction quality control procedures and practices.
- Good understanding of civil construction works, materials, testing, and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, specifications, and relevant construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong inspection, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in QA/QC within construction or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in Data Center projects will be an advantage.
- Should be willing to work at project sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
