About the Role

This is a foundational QA role where you will work closely with development and product teams to build testing processes from the ground up. You will be involved in test planning, execution, defect management, regression testing, API testing, and gradually introducing test automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and document QA processes and testing standards.

- Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from requirements and user stories.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and UI testing.

- Test web and mobile applications across browsers and devices.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Identify, document, track, and verify defects.

- Build and maintain regression test suites.

- Gradually introduce automation for repetitive and high-impact test cases.

- Support release testing and provide quality sign-off recommendations.

- Work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues early.

- Maintain test documentation, test results, and known issue logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.





- 2024 / 2025 / 2026 graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.

- Understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA processes.

- Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, and basic performance testing.

- Ability to create transparent test cases and test scenarios.

- Basic knowledge of web and mobile application testing.

- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.

- Exposure to Jira, Trello, or other bug-tracking tools.

- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web applications is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- ISTQB Foundation certification or interest in pursuing it.

- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or other automation frameworks.

- Familiarity with JMeter or other performance testing tools.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in software testing.
