Responsibilities

- Manual Testing Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for new features and regression cycles. Perform functional, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and API layers.

- Automation Testing: Build and maintain a robust automated test suite using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) to ensure continuous quality gates.
- API and Backend Testing: Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured. Validate data integrity across integration points and microservices, and work closely with backend engineers on contract testing.
- Bug Triage and Reporting Log, track, and prioritise defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classifications. Partner with product and engineering teams to drive issues to resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or k6 to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability of Humigent's AI analytics modules.
- Quality Advocacy Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and retrospectives as a voice for quality. Identify gaps in requirements early and champion a shift-left testing culture across the engineering org.

Requirements

- 5-8 years of hands-on QA experience in a product or SaaS engineering environment.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing, writing test plans, test cases, and executing thorough regression suites.
- Solid experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright,



Cypress, or TestNG.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into build workflows.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and data scientists.
