The role will be responsible for developing and managing competitive supply sources for plastics, polymers, and chemicals across India and neighbouring Asian markets.
The position will focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers, identifying and developing new suppliers, exploring recent product and market opportunities, and supporting international trading activities. The role will also work closely with regional and international offices to share market intelligence, coordinate shipments, develop business opportunities, and support sales growth.
The position requires a proactive, commercially driven professional with solid knowledge of plastics/raw material sourcing and international trading. Frequent travel within India and overseas will be required to meet suppliers and customers and attend relevant industry exhibitions and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a strong network of suppliers across India and neighbouring Asian countries.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and competitive sourcing opportunities.
Manage existing supplier relationships and ensure continuous availability of competitive supply sources.
Conduct market research to identify new products, suppliers, customers, and business opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and developments within the plastics and chemicals industry.
Understand customer buying cycles and identify opportunities to promote relevant products and supply solutions.
Support and conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers and customers as required.
Coordinate with international/regional offices on sourcing
