1. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Plan, organize and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and production resources.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Logistics departments.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reduce downtime, wastage and operational costs through process optimization.
- Lead production supervisors, operators and support staff and manage workforce productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs and customer requirements.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and improve machine availability.
- Monitor raw material consumption and inventory utilization.
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, safety regulations and environmental requirements.
- Support ISO, BRC, HACCP, GMP and customer audits.




- Prepare production MIS, KPI reports and management dashboards.

2. Qualification, Experience & Knowledge:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial or related Engineering discipline
- MBA Operations preferred
- Minimum 10–15 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience in packaging, plastics, paper products or FMCG manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Factory Act, ISO systems and production planning
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and production reporting
