We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in machine shop and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on shop-floor experience and strong technical knowledge of machining processes including Lathe, Milling, Grinding, VMC, and CNC Lathe.

The role will be responsible for independently managing day-to-day production operations, ensuring achievement of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery (SQPD) targets, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage day-to-day production and shop-floor operations.
- Plan and optimize manpower, machines, materials, and other production resources.
- Ensure achievement of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery KPIs.
- Ensure production activities are carried out as per engineering drawings, SOPs, work instructions, and defined process standards.
- Monitor and review daily and weekly production performance against targets.
- Identify production bottlenecks, analyze problems, and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Drive Kaizen, productivity improvement, and continual improvement initiatives.
- Reduce rejection, rework, machine downtime, process losses, and other production inefficiencies.




- Monitor machine utilization and ensure optimum use of available production capacity.
- Guide, train, motivate, and develop the production team.
- Maintain effective shop-floor discipline and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and other functions to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.
- Support implementation and improvement of production processes and systems.
- Prepare and review production reports and highlight deviations with appropriate corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

- DME / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of shop-floor experience in a machine shop / manufacturing environment.
- Nashik-based candidates will be preferred.
- Strong experience in machine shop operations is preferred.
