About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager / Sanding Manager to manage and oversee production operations at the Vizag manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate should have solid exposure to plant operations, production management, process efficiency, manpower management and productivity improvement . Candidates with experience in MDF, HDF, HDHMR, plywood, particle board, wood panels or other relevant manufacturing industries will be preferred.

For the Sanding Manager position, candidates with direct experience in sanding, finishing or related board-processing operations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day production operations at the plant.
- Manage production targets, productivity and operational efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate production teams and shift operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production lines and processes.
- Monitor production output, quality, wastage and downtime.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with Maintenance,



Quality, Stores, Planning and other departments.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and operational standards.
- Drive manpower planning and effective utilisation of resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and plant procedures.
- Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM/Lean practices , wherever applicable.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure timely corrective action.

Additional Responsibilities – Sanding Manager
- Manage sanding/finishing operations and production output.
- Monitor sanding quality, machine performance and process parameters.
- Minimise wastage, rejection and production downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for machine-related issues.
- Ensure consistent product quality and process efficiency.
