The candidate will support day-to-day production activities in sheet metal, press shop, and fabrication processes, ensuring smooth production, quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.Key Responsibilities

- Support daily production activities in sheet metal, press shop, and fabrication operations.
- Monitor production processes and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Assist in setting up and operating press machines, fabrication equipment, and sheet metal machinery.
- Understand and follow process sheets, work instructions, drawings, and SOPs.
- Monitor machine parameters and identify abnormalities during production.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Production teams to resolve shop-floor issues.
- Assist in line balancing, manpower planning, and production scheduling.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
- Support activities related to 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Identify production bottlenecks, rejection, rework, and downtime and support corrective actions.
- Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports,



downtime records, and other production documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company manufacturing standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe working practices on the shop floor.
- Support implementation of Poka-Yoke, process improvement, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Learn and understand automotive manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing and press shop processes.
- Basic understanding of fabrication and welding processes.
- Knowledge of production planning and shop-floor management.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a shop-floor/manufacturing environment.
