I would like to share details about an opportunity to work as a Procurement Specialist (Order Fulfilment).

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced procurement professionals with 4+ years of experience in order processing, supplier coordination, expediting/fulfilment, post-order execution until delivery, stakeholder coordination, supplier management, and procurement closure, preferably with exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Powerplant, Chemical, EPC, or Project-based industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complete order processing, shipment coordination, and delivery of orders to customers
- Manage expediting/fulfilment activities from post-order execution until final delivery
- Act as the SPOC and develop strong working relationships with suppliers to drive on-time deliveries
- Coordinate and follow up with relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and suppliers, to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Represent supplier concerns to internal stakeholders and communicate effectively to support resolution
- Proactively track backlogs and communicate order changes or delays to internal teams and clients
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to identify alternative options and mitigate delivery delays
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of products
- Support the entire procurement process until procurement close-out, including documentation and follow-ups
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure better pricing, commercial terms, and delivery terms for the company




- Prepare and update reports on order status, deliveries, backlogs, and supplier performance
- Work closely with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute cutting-edge, out-of-the-box solutions to procurement and fulfilment processes
- Use ERP systems and procurement tools for order tracking, process management, and reporting
- Apply knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation products/commodities during order fulfilment activities

Eligibility Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience in Order Fulfilment, Procurement, Buying, Supplier Management, Order Management, Expediting, or related roles
- Experience in order processing, shipment coordination, delivery tracking, and supplier follow-up
- Experience in Expediting/Fulfilment and post-order execution until delivery
- Engineering Graduate Mechanical or Electrical background is mandatory
- Good working knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation commodities/products
- Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing, testing activities, and lead times




- Strong supplier management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers
- Ability to manage backlogs, delays, and delivery risks proactively
- Familiarity with ERP systems/tools for order tracking and reporting, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, EPC, Powerplant, Mechanical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Project-based industries is preferred
- Mechanical or Electrical background is a must-have
- Highly proactive and result-oriented mindset with a strong appetite for continuous improvement
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements
- Candidates should be comfortable working with EU & US stakeholders, with working hours extending up to 12:00 AM IST
