Frelit Energy Pvt. Ltd. is a solar energy company engaged in on-grid solar inverter manufacturing and solar EPC solutions. We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Inventory Executive who can independently manage procurement activities for inverter manufacturing and ensure proper stock and inventory management.
Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, components, and other requirements related to on-grid solar inverter manufacturing in India, along with maintaining accurate inventory and stock records.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement, vendor management, price negotiation, material planning, inventory control, and stock management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of electrical, electronic, mechanical and other inverter components.
- Identify, develop and manage reliable vendors across India.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and follow up for timely material delivery.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Ensure procurement is done at competitive prices without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for material requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods,
and other inventory.
- Monitor daily inward and outward material movement.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and prevent material shortages.
- Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
- Track pending orders, material receipts and vendor performance.
- Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory and report the same to management.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and better vendor management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase & Inventory.
- Strong practical knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
- Experience in solar, electrical, electronic or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Positive negotiation, communication and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management.
- Ability to independently manage procurement and stock activities.
Preferred Candidate We are particularly looking for someone who has practical procurement experience with electrical/electronic components and understands how to source materials for manufacturing.
