Procurement Executive – Turmeric

Location : Erode

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in spice procurement, preferably turmeric

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive with solid exposure to turmeric sourcing. Candidates with hands-on experience in local markets, vendor handling, and price negotiation are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of turmeric from farmers, traders, and local markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, aggregators, and mandi agents
- Conduct price negotiations and ensure cost-effective sourcing
- Monitor market trends, crop conditions,



and seasonal price fluctuations
- Ensure quality standards (grading, moisture levels, curcumin content where applicable)
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, and timely delivery to processing units
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and documentation
- Work closely with quality and production teams for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sourcing guidelines
