Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and academically accomplished Principal – Computer Science to lead the academic and administrative operations of a Polytechnic/B.Tech institute. The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic academic leadership, maintaining high educational standards, managing faculty and students, strengthening industry-academia relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of Computer Science & Engineering education, and a proven track record of managing academic institutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

- Lead and supervise the Computer Science & Engineering academic department and institutional academic activities.
- Develop and implement academic plans, curriculum delivery strategies and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor teaching standards, lesson plans, laboratory activities and student performance.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies, practical learning and technology-based education.
- Ensure effective utilization and development of computer laboratories and other academic resources.

Faculty Management
- Lead, mentor and evaluate faculty members.
- Participate in faculty recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal.
- Organize faculty development programs,



workshops, seminars and technical training.
- Maintain appropriate faculty workload, attendance and academic documentation.

Student Development
- Monitor student academic performance, attendance, discipline and overall development.
- Encourage students to participate in technical competitions, projects, internships, hackathons and research activities.
- Support placement and career development initiatives.
- Develop industry-oriented training programs to improve student employability.

Institutional Administration
- Coordinate academic and administrative activities with management and other departments.
- Prepare academic reports, institutional plans, budgets and performance reviews.
- Maintain institutional records and documentation.
- Ensure smooth functioning of classrooms, laboratories, examinations and other academic operations.

Accreditation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable norms and standards of relevant regulatory/accreditation bodies.
- Support institutional processes related to AICTE, affiliating university/board, NAAC, NBA and other applicable bodies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for inspections, accreditation and academic audits.
- Implement quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.

Research & Industry Collaboration
- Encourage faculty research, publications, consultancy and sponsored projects.
- Establish collaborations with IT companies, technology organizations and industry partners.
- Promote internships, industrial visits, guest lectures and industry-oriented projects.




- Develop opportunities for students and faculty to engage with emerging technologies.

Candidate Profile The preferred candidate should be an experienced academic leader with a strong background in Computer Science & Engineering, possessing Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. qualifications in the same or closely related field, along with 10+ years of experience in Polytechnic and/or B.Tech engineering institutions.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
