Immediate Hiring | Automation SDET Engineer | 4-6 Years | Chennai/Pune/Hyderabad

We are looking for a skilled Automation SDET Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in UI, API, and Database Test Automation to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in hybrid automation frameworks, WebdriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, Rest Assured, Core Java, SQL, and AWS.

Location: Chennai / Pune / Hyderabad

Experience: 4-6 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI and backend validation using a hybrid automation framework.
- Build and execute UI automation test cases using WebdriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Design and implement API automation tests using Rest Assured and Core Java (Java 8+).
- Perform end-to-end validation across UI, API, and Database layers.
- Validate data integrity through SQL queries and database testing.
- Establish and manage secure connectivity with AWS-hosted databases.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Enhance automation frameworks to improve reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation execution failures.

Required Skills





- 4-6 years of experience in Test Automation/SDET roles.
- Strong experience with hybrid automation frameworks covering UI and backend testing.
- Proficiency in WebdriverIO, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured and Core Java (Java 8 or above).
- Solid SQL skills with database validation experience.
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments and secure database connectivity.
- Knowledge of automation framework design principles and reusable test architecture.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with minimum-code/low-maintenance automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud configuration and secrets management.
- Good understanding of Java 8 Streams and functional programming concepts.
- Experience in end-to-end testing across UI, API, and Database layers.
