Oracle RMB Application Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle RMB Application Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, SQL and PL/SQL . The candidate will be responsible for application development, enhancement, integration, testing and production support, while working closely with Business Analysts, developers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications and use cases in collaboration with Business Analysts.
- Design and develop application modules aligned with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) .
- Work on Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB/RMB) applications and related business processes.
- Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL programs, procedures and application components.
- Prepare technical design documents, technical specifications, migration instructions and unit test documentation.
- Perform unit, integration and regression testing and maintain appropriate test evidence.
- Provide technical support during QA and regression testing cycles.
- Support application deployment and provide knowledge transfer to AES/DBA teams .
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore stakeholders across different time zones.
- Support application enhancements, product development and process improvements.




- Manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
- Maintain source code and technical documentation as per established standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers/team members.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of overall application development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Lead/Technical Lead capacity.
- Solid hands-on experience with Oracle Forms .
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Reports .
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) .
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Good technical and functional knowledge of Oracle technologies/applications .
- Experience in application development, integration and production support .
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with distributed/offshore-onshore teams .
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB/RMB) .
- Experience with RMB Java / Java / J2EE .
- Knowledge of Oracle Finance modules/applications.
- Experience in application migration, deployment and release processes.
- Experience working across multiple business processes and understanding integration points.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Oracle Developer/Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Forms, Reports, OAF, SQL and PL/SQL , along with good understanding of application support and development lifecycle. ORMB/RMB experience will be highly preferred. The candidate should also demonstrate strong ownership, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
