Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise-level firewall and load balancing implementation.

The candidate should have proven experience implementing and deploying FortiGate firewalls and F5 LTM/GTM across large enterprise or data center environments.

This is a project engineering role focused on design, implementation, deployment, testing and production go-live. Candidates with only BAU support or monitoring experience will not be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure and implement FortiGate firewall solutions across enterprise environments.
- Configure firewall policies, NAT, VPN/IPSec, security rules and rule-base management.
- Perform hands-on F5 LTM/GTM implementation and deployment.
- Configure F5 VIPs, Virtual Servers, Pools, Pool Members and Health Monitors.
- Configure and implement F5 LTM load-balancing policies and traffic management.
- Work on F5 GTM/GSLB implementation, including Wide IPs, DNS and health monitoring.
- Participate in end-to-end projects from design and planning through implementation, testing and production go-live.
- Prepare and maintain HLD/LLD and technical implementation documentation.
- Perform production changes, testing, validation and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot firewall, load balancing and network connectivity issues.
- Work closely with network, security,



application and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Follow enterprise change management and production implementation processes.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate / Fortinet firewalls.
- Hands-on experience in firewall policies, NAT, VPN/IPSec and rule-base management.
- Strong hands-on F5 LTM implementation experience.
- Hands-on F5 GTM implementation experience is required.
- Experience configuring VIPs, Virtual Servers, Pools, Pool Members and Health Monitors.
- Experience with F5 GTM/GSLB, Wide IPs and DNS-based traffic management.
- Proven experience in enterprise-level project implementation and deployment.
- Experience taking projects from design through production go-live.
- Strong understanding of network security and L2/L3 networking.
- Experience creating HLD/LLD and implementation documentation.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Fortinet certifications such as NSE 4/5/7 or equivalent.
- Palo Alto firewall experience.
- Check Point firewall experience.
- SD-WAN exposure.
- Data center networking experience.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise security implementations.
