Network Security Engineer Routing & Switching, Load Balancing & Proxy

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong enterprise-level implementation experience across Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancing and Proxy/Secure Web Gateway technologies.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience delivering enterprise network/security projects from Design through Implementation, Deployment, Testing and Production Go-Live.

This is NOT a pure BAU/operations/support role. Candidates with strong project implementation experience in enterprise environments are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF in enterprise network environments.
- Configure and implement enterprise Routing & Switching infrastructure.
- Implement and troubleshoot firewall policies and security rules.
- Hands-on implementation experience with FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA or Check Point.
- Implement and manage F5 Load Balancers, including LTM/GTM, VIPs, pools, health monitors and traffic distribution.
- Configure and implement Proxy/SWG solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler or equivalent.
- Work on SSL inspection, URL filtering and policy-based access control.
- Prepare and review HLD/LLD and technical implementation documents.
- Own implementation activities including configuration, testing, cutover and production deployment.




- Participate in enterprise-level project delivery and Go-Live activities.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across routing, switching, firewall, load balancing and proxy technologies.
- Coordinate with architecture, application, security and infrastructure teams during implementation.

Mandatory Requirements
- Solid hands-on Routing & Switching experience with BGP and OSPF.
- Hands-on Firewall implementation and troubleshooting experience.
- Hands-on F5 LTM/GTM or equivalent Load Balancer implementation experience.
- Experience with Proxy/SWG Blue Coat, Zscaler or equivalent.
- Proven experience in enterprise-level Design, Implementation, Deployment and Go-Live projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience preparing HLD/LLD and implementation documentation.
- CCNP/CCIE-level networking knowledge.

Important Candidates must have actual enterprise-level implementation experience.

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to:

- BAU Operations
- NOC/Monitoring
- Incident Management
- Ticket-based support
- Routine administration
- Monitoring without implementation

will not be considered.

Certifications

- CCNP / CCIE Preferred/Required
- Fortinet certification – desirable
- Palo Alto PCNSE – desirable
- Check Point CCSA/CCSE – desirable
