- Data Center Rollouts, Infrastructure &
- Project Deployment
- Manage the full branch rollout lifecycle, including initial site feasibility, link provisioning, SD-WAN deployment, and infrastructure readiness.
- Oversee end-to-end network setup for new branch offices and DC expansions from site survey through procurement, staging, installation, and commissioning.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain core network hardware, including routers, switches, SD-WAN appliances, firewalls, modems, and access points.
- Execute active project deployments for ongoing network upgrades, site migrations, and continuous hardware refresh cycles.
- Manage SD-WAN device lifecycle management, including End-of-Life (EOL) hardware replacements, tech refreshes, and systematic decommissioning.
2. Operations, Incident Escalation &
- Capacity Planning
- Lead end-to-end IT & network operations across all branches and Data Centers, ensuring maximum operational uptime and business continuity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (L1 and major incident lead) and escalation point for critical branch outages and complex network incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues including WAN connectivity drops, latency, hardware faults, VPN glitches, and IP addressing issues.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring network issues and implement permanent corrective solutions (e.g., link upgrades, routing optimization, redundancy setup).
- Perform continuous capacity planning and network monitoring using tools like SolarWinds to support scalable business operations and prevent performance bottlenecks.
3.
Telecom Link
Procurement &
- Lifecycle Management
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of diverse network transport types (e.g., MPLS, ILL/Internet Leased Lines, SD-WAN, Broadband, 4G/5G LTE, Point-to-Point).
- Identify bandwidth requirements for recent locations, request vendor quotes, initiate procurement orders, and supervise circuit activation/upgrades.
- Monitor link performance, track uptime SLAs, and coordinate link upgrades or rationalization based on branch operational requirements.
4.
Vendor
Management, Governance &
- Panel Onboarding
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) connecting business units, IT leadership, and external service providers/ISPs.
- Manage relationships with telecom service providers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and system integrators.
- Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding of new telecom and network hardware vendors onto the company/LTFS vendor panel in compliance with procurement policies.
- Lead weekly governance calls and monthly vendor performance reviews to track SLA adherence, enforce service delivery standards, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
5. Financial, Procurement &
- Inventory Management
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement workflow, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and formal documentation.
- Process monthly telecom and network infrastructure bills, validate invoices, and execute dispute resolutions to prevent overbilling or unauthorized charges.
- Perform routine reconciliations between active circuits and vendor billing statements, coordinating with internal finance and accounts payable teams for timely payment release.
- Maintain central IT inventory tracking, asset management registers, and lifecycle documentation across all operational locations.
6. Governance, Compliance &
- Audit Readiness
- Publish regular network health, operational performance, and SLA compliance reports for management review.
- Ensure all branch and DC network configurations comply with internal IT security guidelines, risk frameworks, and statutory audit standards.
