- Position Overview

We are seeking a highly agile and detail-oriented Software Engineer (3–4 years of experience) specializing in the .NET ecosystem and MS SQL Server. This critical role focuses on the continuous maintenance, optimization, and stability of 4–5 core enterprise applications. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment where the primary mandate is identifying, troubleshooting, and eliminating existing bugs, managing reliable code deployments, and maintaining a secure source code repository. Key Responsibilities

- Application Maintenance & Bug Resolution
- Take immediate technical ownership of 4–5 existing operational applications.
- Systematically debug, reproduce, and resolve legacy issues, edge-case defects, and structural bugs within current software builds.
- Prioritize and triage incoming issues to minimize impact on daily business operations.
- Rapid Production Engineering
- Execute swift turn-around times for structural patches, data corrections, and critical production hotfixes.
- Package, test, and safely deploy code updates to production environments with minimal downtime or risk exposure.
- Release Management & Source Control
- Establish, organize, and maintain clean source code repositories using standard version control practices (e.g., Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps).
- Manage code branching, merging, conflict resolutions, and version tag maintenance.




- UAT & Quality Assurance Collaboration
- Deploy stable release candidates to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders and QA engineers to validate fixes, address feedback, and obtain formal signoffs before production releases.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven hands-on software development and application support experience in an enterprise setting.
- Core Development Stack: Robust proficiency in .NET Framework / .NET Core (VB, ASP.NET, MVC, or Web API architectures).
- Database Management: Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server—ability to write, debug, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, indexing, and data scripts.
- Version Control: Robust experience managing repositories using Git / Bit Bucket / SVN/ GitLab or similar systems.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional diagnostic and reverse-engineering skills to quickly understand undocumented legacy codebases.

- Urgency & Responsiveness: A natural sense of ownership and urgency when dealing with production system interruptions.
- Execution Clarity: Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical root-cause analyses to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Autonomy: Comfort working independently with limited documentation, relying on strong critical thinking to chart debugging paths.
