We are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Head – Mumbai to lead and grow the retail business across the Mumbai market.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Building Materials, Architectural Hardware or Paints & Adhesives Industry, along with a proven track record in managing dealers, distributors, and retail sales teams.

This is a key leadership role for someone who can build strong market relationships, improve sales performance, expand the dealer network, and lead a team towards clear business goals.

Responsibilities

- Lead and drive retail sales across the entire Mumbai market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the retail sales team.
- Set clear sales targets and ensure consistent achievement.
- Identify new dealers, distributors, and retail business opportunities.
- Strengthen market coverage and improve sales across key areas.
- Track team and market performance and take timely action to improve results.
- Build strong dealer relationships to improve business growth and retention.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth product availability and customer support.




- Develop sales plans that support long-term growth in the Mumbai market.
- Take ownership of revenue, team performance, and overall retail business growth.

Qualifications

- 10 to 12+ years of overall sales experience, with strong exposure to Retail Sales.
- Must have relevant experience in the Building Materials, Architectural Hardware or Paints & Adhesives Industry.
- Strong experience in dealer and distributor handling is essential.
- Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams.
- Robust knowledge of the Mumbai retail market.
- Experience in developing dealer networks and expanding market coverage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Should be comfortable managing targets, teams, and business numbers.
- Candidates with strong Mumbai market exposure will be preferred.
