Qualification,Experience Desired Skills:

- B.E./B.Techin Mining Engineering with First Class Manager's Certificate of Competency(Metal)
- 12-15 years of experiencein mechanized open-cast metal mining operations.
- Exposureto bauxite mining operations, mine planning, statutory compliance, safetymanagement, and contractor management.
- Solid leadership,decision-making, stakeholder management, and operational excellencecapabilities.

Key Responsibilities 1. MiningOperations Products

- This is Statutory Mines Manager positionand incumbent is expected to deliver duties of mines manger as defined inStatue.
- Plan, direct, andsupervise all mining activities to achieve production, quality, and developmenttargets.
- Ensure efficientexcavation, loading, hauling, crushing, ore dispatch, mine development, benchformation, haul road maintenance, Dump management and drainage management.
- Optimize utilization ofmining equipment, manpower, and resources to maximize productivity andoperational efficiency.

2. Safety,Statutory Environmental Compliance

- Ensure compliance with the Mines Act,Rules MMR-1961, DGMS regulations, Environmental Clearance (EC), ForestClearance (FC), CTO conditions, and Vedanta safety standards (VSAP).
- Implement and monitor SafetyManagement Plans (SMP), HIRA, JSA, emergency preparedness, and risk controlmeasures.




- Lead safety inspections, audits,incident investigations, and corrective actions to promote a Zero Harm culture.
- Monitorenvironmental management initiatives including waste management, dustsuppression, water conservation, mine reclamation, and progressive mine closureactivities.

3. People Contractor Management

- Lead and develop a multidisciplinaryteam of mining professionals, supervisors, operators, and contractors.
- Driveworkforce productivity, competency development, and performance management.
- Ensurecontractor compliance with safety, statutory, and operational requirements.

4. Planning,Cost Control Stakeholder Management

- Prepareand monitor annual, monthly, and weekly production plans and budgets.
- Control mining costs and implementcontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operationalperformance.
- Coordinatewith geology, mechanical, electrical, and commercial teams for smooth mineoperations.
- Liaise with DGMS, IBM, State Mining Department,Pollution Control Board, local administration, and community stakeholders.
