Role Description This part-time/full-time, in office Medical Doctor role is based at Asvins Care Health Care Center in Whitefield Bengaluru. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care, including patient consultations, physical examinations, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and updating Electronic Medical Records, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, and coordinating follow-up care.

The role involves collaborating closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families about conditions and preventive health, and participating in case discussions and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or MBBS +PGDFM/PGDGM/DFM or MBBS + DNB FamilyMedicine/MRCGP) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council; completion of internship and clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, including history-taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and formulation of evidence-based treatment plans.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records and basic digital health tools, with accurate documentation and adherence to data privacy and regulatory standards.
- Clear, compassionate communication skills for patient education, counseling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and continuous learning, including openness to feedback and standard treatment protocols.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population, prioritize tasks in a busy clinic, and maintain professionalism and ethical practice at all times.
- Additional training or experience in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or preventive care is an advantage.
